Project Prompt: LAMPRIS ANIMATED LOGO"

Client: LAMPRIS; Cpa and company

My Role: Animator

Software used: After Effects, Procreate, Illustrator

Project Summary: Motion Graphic Animation for Lampris Email Signatures

As part of a project for Mystic View Design's client, Lampris, I was assigned to design and develop a motion graphic animation specifically for use in email signatures.

The goal was to enhance the visual appeal and professionalism of their email communications while maintaining functionality and brand consistency. This involved understanding the client’s branding guidelines, conceptualizing creative animation ideas, and ensuring the final output was optimized for seamless integration across email platforms. The project highlighted my ability to combine design creativity with technical proficiency to meet client needs effectively.

The sample on the right is a reference from the client at Lampris, providing a general idea of the fluid animation style he envisioned. It wasn’t meant as a direct replacement but rather as inspiration, giving me more creative freedom to bring the concept to life.

From here, I imported the logo into Adobe Illustrator to separate the vector files, ensuring each element was properly organized for animation. Then, I transferred the files into Adobe After Effects, where I explored various animation techniques to bring the concept to life. Using the client’s reference as a foundation, I experimented with timing, motion dynamics, and fluid transitions to create a visually engaging and polished animation while incorporating my own creative touch.

I reported back to my creative director and client as a starting point to ensure we were on the same page. The client specifically requested that only the swirl move or loop in an animated way. In response, I suggested bringing several concept variations to explore different approaches. Since I wasn’t given full creative control, I decided to work outside Adobe After Effects and experimented with animation in Procreate and Photoshop to develop alternative solutions.

A.

B.

C.

From the initial feedback I received on the three concepts, the company selected Option C as the best choice. From there, I refined the design, enhancing the quality and ensuring it met the necessary standards. I then scaled the animation appropriately to create a successful and visually appealing email banner.
